Listen, Honey

I was finally made to switch over to the new Blogger today. I generally resist changes of this sort until I'm convinced it actually is a change for the better. I guess we'll see ... I will admit nothing appears to have exploded so far.
I've been meaning to post this. It is back from when we had the ice storm. It's a conversation between talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and
a woman in Austin named Gladys. It is worth listening to every bit of it; it will crack you up!

That was pretty much a riot, although I wasn't sure for the first two minutes that it was not a spoof.

I always have liked Ellen DeG. . .watched her sitcom ages ago religiously. Reminds me in some ways of somebody I used to know in college.

Yeah, I did the new Blogger too. I really want to use labels and all those knick-knacks but I'm up to about 700 posts, and really dread the whole thought of trying to label all those things. . .even assuming I could come up with categories. It seems to cause problems with commenters who haven't upgraded though.

OH MY GOD!!!! This has got to be one of the FUNNIEST things I've ever watched. This woman was probably the cutest and sweetest person and she just talked to Ellen like she was a neighbor or a friend in church.

Thank you for posting this. Made my week!
