* They didn't give me an "I voted" sticker this morning. : (
I was out walking last night, and I heard a father call his son. He told him that if he went to go vote he'd buy him dinner afterward. The mom jokingly cried foul: "He's buying votes!"
I hope everyone takes every initiative they can to encourage people to hit the polls today - - especially if you are on my side of the aisle!!! ;)
Get out today and vote. Don't put off today what you can't do tomorrow!

Those stickers are funny aren't they ? I didn't get one either, but I'd really like 10 or 12 so I could get people wondering...
I voted last week at HEB. My gubernatorial candidate lost, though :( I haven't checked the rest yer.
It's funny that so many people complain about our government officials and yet, they don't go out and do something about it. I tend to be hypocritical about a number of things, but at least I can say that I didn't vote for Bush in '04 (Kerry was the lesser of 2 evils, I admit, but how much less is still a big question). That gives me carte blance to make fun of him or complain any time I want.
At least I make an effort to have my voice heard. Unfortunately, my senatorial candidate didn't win. Oh well. At least there's next year and even more so in '08
