I'm Getting Pimped!

* It went fine, but oh, my gosh - get me out of this scene already! I am SO over it!
And, if I show up in a picture with the mayor, I was coerced. Yes, he's kind of cute and - more importantly, an Aggie - but give the man a break already.

Well, I'm getting pimped out tonight, folks.
There's a "Pimp Your Friend" party tonight that over 400 lost, lonely, single Austin professionals are attending. We apparently have a lot of those. Actually, it's designed for those who are "so amazing and picky they have not found someone." Ahem.
Anyway, I'm going to go and let myself be pimped out, but mostly, my plan is to pimp out my friend. :P

I haven't been a fish in the sea for a long time, but that's got to be pretty trippy -- sounds like a scene with a whole LOT of phermones in the air, not to mention an opportunity to practice cliche-bingo.

The Mayor huh ? Kewl...

Cliche bingo. You're so clever sometimes.

The scene is pretty awful, really. I mean, it's fine, and it went fine, and the people were nice ... blah, blah, blah.
But, I am really tired of the whole meat market mentality.
I might just give up on men and become rich and famous instead. I'm entirely too picky anyway. :P

Sounds interesting. Not only am i picky but i don't know how to flirt and initiate things. Maybe, this would be a good venue for fishing.

I'm in the same boat with Apple. online dating worked for me. Speed dating and now pimping. Caroline, are you sure you're doing this for your friends :)

One other thing, 'Pimp Your Friend' sounds like a personal next makeover show for MTV. Picture this: Instead of XZibit we have Li'l Kim (isn't she in jail) or Missy Eliot taking a woman or a woman's friend an pimpin her out in the latest J-ho attire. We may have something here

It does help having someone ease your way in. I'm not the type to just go up to a guy and start talking to him so, from that perspective, it helps.
